One thousand olive trees are grown on our farm in the Obi Obi Valley. Every year during March, we hand pick the olives. These are put into our olive processor. A hammer mill pulps up the olives and after a period of time during which the olive pulp is churned, the mixture is pushed into a centrifuge. Obi Obi Olive Oil comes out the other end. This oil, as always, is cold-pressed. That means no heat or other additives were used during the extraction period. The oil is also of a high standard, extra virgin. Only good quality olives are used and they are always crushed the same day that they are picked.
This year, because of all the rain reducing the amount of oil produced, we are only selling bottles of 250ml. As usual, the price for this amount is $10. Unlike wine, olive oil does not get better with age. It is also best to keep it out of direct sunlight. We put our beautiful oil in green coloured glass bottles to help keep it for as long as is necessary. We have now set up a process for recycling the bottles, so please let us know if you want your glass bottles refilled.

Obi Obi Green Tea
New shoots from the Camellia Senesis are used for this organic tea. They are home-grown, hand-picked, sun dried and packaged on-site in the clean and green Obi Obi Valley . Green tea is available during spring, summer and autumn. The shoots do not grow during winter.
As our tea is so fresh, we believe “Less is More”. Use one teaspoon per person and adjust according to your taste. Bring freshly drawn water to the boil. Pour over the tea leaves. Allow to steep for about three minutes. Enjoy best without milk. The second infusion is even better.

Just like llamas and camels, alpacas are from the animal group, camelids. However, alpacas are too small to be used as pack animals and in Peru, their country of origin, are used for their fibre and for meat.
Alpacas have been in Australia for about twenty years. Alpaca owners in Australia are continually trying to improve the quality of the fibre through breeding with uniformity being the key component. That is uniformity of fineness, colour, alignment, length and style. At this point we have nine alpacas, with three of the five girls expecting very soon.
Because I have been a spinner for many years, the alpaca wool quality and variety of natural colours is a dream come true.
We produce a variety of naturally coloured, organic wool. All hand-spun from the Obi Obi Valley.
